Sovana, Bianco di Pitigliano and Vermentino di Toscana grapes are grown; the farm grows corn, barley and sunflowers, in rotation: all the crops are being converted to Organic Farming. The archaeological site of Morranaccio is located on the farm. Although there is not a great deal to be seen here at the moment, it can be visited and is currently the subject of a restoration project by the Municipality of Pitigliano. There are many archaeological sites of great interest that our hosts can reach easily. The Villa is the result of the renovation and extension of an eighteenth century farmhouse and is divided into two sections, only one of which is available to guests. In the large garden there is a shared swimming-pool, a gazebo with dining table and another two large dining tables in front of the two entrances. There is also a mini-park with a small lake that has featured on various specialist magazines.
The farm holiday facility is located only a short distance from some of the most important Etruscan and Roman archaeological sites: the necropolises of Sovana, Sorano and Pitigiano; Poggio Buco, Vulci, Caere (today known as Cerveteri, famous for the tombs carved out of the tuff in the necropolis of Banditaccia ), Tarquinia (famous for its painted tombs) and Tuscania. Other easily accessible places are Saturnia and its famous spas, LakeBolsena, the Argentario coast (Porto S.Stefano, Porto Ercole and Orbetello), the UccellinaNaturePark, MountAmiata (Abbadia S.Salvatore, Pian Castagnaio), the Val d’Orcia and its spa resorts (Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Bagni S.
